As eager as I was to delve into the vast art collections at Boston's Museum of Fine Arts, I lingered before entering to make these architectural abstractions. I had just spent hours being examined, poked, x-rayed and scanned. The good news: I am six years out from a cancer diagnosis and am healthy. Taking these pictures lifted the heavy mood that often envelops me when I return to the hospital corridors where traumatic treatment memories lurk.
